Welcome to A Cup of Kim - also known as our quaint little space on the internet.

Before we met, we both had our own blogs. While that isn't necessarily something we discussed on our first date, it was something that over time we realized we had in common - we both loved to write. My now-husband, who published his own short story online and myself, who blogs during her free time as a creative outlet and wrote short stories, realized we both loved to write. Sometimes we would write stories and then switch journals to share our work with one another.

We toyed with the idea of sharing a blog one day when I mentioned how sometimes I will post photography on my blog at the time from our travels as recaps. In that same conversation, we talked about how it might be cool to have space where we can not only share our travel photographs but our experiences as well. You know - like how blogging was before it became much more complicated than just sharing your favorite photographs?

Thus, A Cup of Kim was created to share our travels, experiences, and stories surrounding them with you. We thought it would be fun to create something together to look back on and cherish. We are looking forward to sharing our thoughts and experiences with you on this space!
